Bartholomew Boniface Ochonye (OBB)

Bartholomew Boniface Ochonye (MHM), Country Director/Chief Executive Officer: A highly experienced program manager with over 20 years’ experience in public health and human rights. Bartholomew leads one of the largest HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment (PCT) program for the Key Populations in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Bartholomew has worked with CEDPA, Winrock International, FHI360, and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Nigeria. He was a speaker at the UNGASS HLM in June 2016 in New York on the topic “Leaving No One Behind”. He has focused on practical solutions to gender disparities, health, social and economic injustice. Ochonye holds a Master’s degree in Health Management and is currently studying for his PhD in Public Health.
