Heartland Alliance LTD/GTE (HALG) provides trauma-informed, stigma-free healthcare and social services, ensuring equitable care for vulnerable populations. Our key interventions include HIV/AIDS treatment, mental health support, tuberculosis care, harm reduction, cervical cancer screening, health justice, and survivor support. We also focus on capacity building, economic empowerment, and grant provision for community-based organizations.
Through research on HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, mental health and psychosocial support, tuberculosis, cervical cancer, adolescent programming, and gender-based violence, we drive policy and advocacy efforts globally. In partnership with the Lagos and Akwa Ibom State Governments, HALG is working to expand health insurance coverage, enhancing healthcare accessibility and affordability for underserved population.
