EJAF ZIPLINE
The Solving the Barriers to HIV Prevention & Treatment Among Nigeria’s Highest Risk Youth project is a 36-month initiative funded by the Elton John Foundation with support from Zipline. Targeting adolescents and young persons (AYPs) aged 15–24 in Bayelsa and Cross-River State, the project aims to remove barriers to HIV prevention and treatment through community-based education, peer-led services, and innovative supply delivery. Heartland Alliance LTD/GTE (HALG), in partnership with community-based organizations (CBOs), will provide HIV testing, case finding, PrEP initiation, STI referrals, and patient tracking.
To ensure seamless access to HIV and SRH commodities, Zipline will use drone-based deliveries to supply CBOs. The project also includes behavioral change interventions, dignity kit distribution, supervisory visits, and monitoring and evaluation, ensuring sustainable impact for at-risk youth in Nigeria.
